STOP Bending the Rules ... in the name of GRACE

STOP Bending the Rules in the name of Grace.

Our Father in Heaven is immaculate in all His Ways.
Are we not to exercise our will to some extent ?
Certainly some measure of spiritual discipline is required.
His Word reveals that He gave us the spirit of discipline.
Surely this must be exercised?

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
~ 2 Timothy 1:7

Are we not to deliberately MAKE THE CHOICE to choose and conform to His will ?

The very declaration we make with each utterance of the Lord's prayer,
" Our Father who art in Heaven, YOUR WILL be done, YOUR KINGDOM come. "

And upon this commitment to choose His will, it is then that He arrives in with great, abundant grace to deliver the assistance necessary in this valiant and noble quest.

However, continually delaying transformation ,
holding onto idols ( money, security, addictions, etc )
leaving open doors ,
claiming it will be done when it's done by Him., etc.

Claiming that by His Grace things will change and so there is nothing we need do. Oh ! No changes in lifestyle are required. Let's just sit back and continue doing things our way.
Jesus did it all, if He needs us to change, He will do it ?

This lackadaisical attitude simply does not bode well for the mature in Christ.
IT DOES NOT BODE WELL FOR THE ONE LIVING IN THE END DAYS.
For the one is who is deemed to be an ambassador of Heaven, the one who has Jesus emanating through him, a priest in the order of Melchisedek!

For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. ~ Hebrews 7:17

There is a certain engagement of our will that is required.
SACRIFICE is required.
COURAGE is required.
THE COURAGE to let go of old ways .

Remember ... above all that He is a Covenant God.

The Word of God displays the intricate preparations that we are going through, an intense refining by Fire, all of which are to prepare us, His Bride for the Wedding Day.

This is a clear indication of how highly YAHWEH regards weddings and marriage.
Both spiritually and in the natural.

HONOR Covenant.
HONOR Marriage.
Be PURE and keep your body pure.
INTIMACY only comes AFTER entering into a Covenant of Marriage.

Many Christians are up in arms over the topic of homosexuality, yet there is another issue that is rampant and just as grievous to the Lord.

How many Christians do we see living together or fornicating outside the covenant of marriage ? This is extremely commonplace.
No matter how faithful you are to each other, if you have not formally committed your relationship, exchanging vows before the Lord in covenant, then in His eyes you are an adulterer.

Note: Making a covenant, requires a public declaration & exchange of vows. It requires the presence of 1 or 2 witnesses.

I bring your attention to The Word of God in relation to adultery.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, ~ 1 Corinthian 6:9

Having a relationship without the formality of marriage, places the 'believer' in the same class as one practising homosexual activities.

Both the individual practicing homosexuality as well as the adulterer WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. 

I reiterate, the adulterer cannot enter Heaven. 

These are the Lord's words and His decision ... not mine.

SIN IS SIN.

Of friends ... CHOOSE your friends wisely.
There is no excuse.
BE AWARE of whom you have yoked yourself with, you become ONE with them.
Yes sometimes we have to sacrifice the very thing, the very person we want to hold close .

But it's NOT ABOUT WHAT WE WANT.
It's about His Will ... and His Plan... and there are certain things that we do have to go through to line up our will with His, and this can be VERY PAINFUL. But we must be obedient and submissive. Surrendering at every moment to the Lord even when it hurts.

SUBMITTING TO THE LORD'S WILL & WAYS

When we have his spirit in us we become very submissive to all He desires and wills.
His Will becomes paramount.
The submitted man/woman in Christ, has ceased planning ... has ceased pushing and striving.
He/She looks for the heavenly signs. Hears His voice and obeys ... despite the cost.
He/She is set apart ... and the path they walk on is truly narrow.
So narrow that it is uncomfortable for the world, but for the beloved of the Lord it is perfect.

And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. ~ Revelation 14:5 

Is there sin in your life that has been brushed under the carpet ?

IF A DOOR IS OPEN , CLOSE IT.
