Entering the Gates of Heaven ...

This is an excerpt from a book that I am writing. The book offers an indepth study of the heavenly manifestations being documented in a movie that I am producing, " GEMS FROM HEAVEN - The Kingdom of God is within you."

What a glorious topic this is! One that I so adore because it has given me such joy to visit the heavenly realms. For those who find this topic to be quite novel or even utterly foreign, let me begin from the beginning ... That seems only logical :)

 It's often stated that our entrance into the Heavenly realms is akin to stepping into the Holy of Holies. The ancient Hebrew tabernacle was a physical "tent-like" vessel that provided a dwelling place for the Divine presence. 

Within the tabernacle lay the Holy Place. This was the inner room known as the Holy of Holies, a sacred area where only chosen priests were allowed access. This access arrived at specific times in particular ways, always involving a blood sacrifice.



“But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.” (Hebrews 9:7)

Yet through the Grace of Yahweh, the Blood of Yeshua has granted us access to the Holy of Holies. An ordinary man or woman who has taken Jesus as Lord is literally transformed from a sinner to a saint or priest, with all the privileges that come with being a priest. Namely, His presence.

Now when anything occurs in the Supernatural it leaves it's mark in the natural. And so events in the natural offer clues to what has transpired in the spirit !

For instance when Jesus was crucified, the thick veil into the Holy of Holies in the Temple was ripped away.
This veil was the shield that ensured that none could irreverently enter into God’s magnificent presence.

The word “veil” in Hebrew means a screen, divider or separator that hides.  

Alfred Edersheim, The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah documented the thickeness of the veil which is of great significance. He states,
"The Veils before the Most Holy Place were 40 cubits (60 feet) long, and 20 (30 feet) wide, of the thickness of the palm of the hand, and wrought in 72 squares, which were joined together; and these Veils were so heavy, that, in the exaggerated language of the time, it needed 300 priests to manipulate each.  If the Veil was at all such as is described in the Talmud, it could not have been rent in twain by a mere earthquake or the fall of the lintel, although its composition in squares fastened together might explain, how the rent might be as described in the Gospel. "
The 1st century Jewish historian, Josephus reported that the veil was 4 inches thick. " It was renewed every year, and horses tied to each side could not pull it apart.  It barred all but the High Priest from the presence of God, but when it was torn in two at the death of Jesus of Nazareth (see Mark 15:38), access to God was made available to all who come through him.”


What a GIFT we have been given ; a free passage to boldly enter into His presence!

“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body …let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.” (Hebrews 10:19-22)

Yes, via the Blood of Christ we can choose to step into the Holy of Holies by faith.
We can press into supernatural encounters BY FAITH! Exercising in the spirit realm and seeing in the unseen is the right of every believer. It's time we fully experience what it means to be seated in Heavenly places while operating simultaneously in the physical realm.

This is an altogether new experience for most human beings who are so engaged by the stimuli of the world. Stepping into the spirit realm and seeking deeper intimacy with the Father exercises a muscle we have not been trained to use. But commitment and a relentless desire for breakthrough is necessary.

 The gates to the Heavenly realms truly are wide open.

Step in ...

These majestic gates wait to receive those who eagerly embark on it's engaging journey ...
