But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR MARTYRDOM 

On Sunday night/early Monday morning 17 August 2015, we had a long drive ahead of us.

To keep myself awake and alert I listened to the Book of Revelation on my phone's audiobible.

In the wee hours, around 2 or 3 am, I came to the 16th book .

Here the Seven Bowls of God's of God's wrath are poured.
I heard Holy Spirit speak to me more clearly than ever ! His voice was close to an audible voice...almost...

Let's just say His voice was so clear that my heart leapt in recognition, despite being physically tired.

Let me explain where and what He spoke of.
I was listening to Chapter 16 of the Book of Revelations and verses 1-4 played.
It was a very visual experience for me. I would 'see' the angels pouring out their bowls...

Revelation 16:1-4
1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”
2The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
3The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.
4The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. "

The pouring of these bowls seemed to PULL my attention. I wondered what they were pouring that had such an IMPACT on the Earth.

This is when Holy Spirit spoke.
He said very CLEARLY, " THEY POURED THE BLOOD OF MARTYRS."

And then to confirm this, I heard the next verses playing on audiobible.

Revelation 16:5-6
" 5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:
“You are just in these judgments, O Holy One,you who are and who were;
6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”

WOW ! 
This blew me away...Holy Spirit is such a clear and real teacher ... HE SPEAKS!
And then He follows this by irrefutably confirming what He has spoken or shown us.

The death of some Saints must and will occur.
It is Written.
It cannot be avoided.

And we are Not to engineer our own means of safety and security above all.
Yes we are SAFE in Christ and He will indeed engineer means and ways to keep many safe through both natural and supernatural means.
But at the same time KNOW that martyrdom MAY be written for you.

This is not fear-mongering. 

It's an inevitable occurrence for some.
The sooner you come to terms with it, the more ready you will be to face it.
It will not occur for all Saints but SOME will indeed HAVE to be martyred.
The Lord will make His will for your life known.

If it martyrdom written for you, you will begin to sense it.
And If a loved one is deemed to be martyred before your eyes you are NOT to pick up a gun and kill another to prevent this.

Understand this, IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM, THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD HAS GREAT IMPACT AND IMPORT.

The enemy is well aware of the power of blood and is constantly committing evil blood rituals in perverse ways. Even the act of abortion is a perverse blood sacrifice that the modern world is blissfully unaware of.
I tend to believe the shedding of Christian saints counters these perverse blood rituals ...
I AGREE that Jesus did it all by shedding of His blood,.
YES, amen that is absolutely true.
But at the same time, the Lord has deemed the shedding of the blood of martyrs for purposes that are beyond our understanding at this time.
Don't be taken in by Satan, as Peter was when he cried in fear that Jesus would not be killed.

" But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." ~ Matthew 16:23

YESHUA HAD TO DIE IN ORDER FOR HIM TO COME TO LIFE 3 DAYS LATER.
HIS BLOOD HAD TO BE SHED.

And for the chosen Christian martyrs, their blood has to be spilled for what is written in the Book of Revelation to come about entirely.
The blood of martyrs will be collected in bowls and poured forth by the angels.
This MUST happen, it WILL occur because it is God's Design and His Will.
He Sees all, far beyond what we know.
He has engineered things in a most wonderful way that we will at some point fully understand.

Most of all, He is Sovereign.
And His Will will be done despite any efforts or strategy from your part.
Accept this as a inevitable reality.

Your job is NOT To buy guns or weaponry to prevent this!
Lest the Lord cry out to you, " GET BEHIND ME SATAN".
Lest you become a Terrible HINDRANCE to God.

Release the small mind, ways and fear of Man.
Get past Human Concerns.
PUT ON THE MIND OF CHRIST.
His most Excellent Mind sees beyond the physical realm and it sees far beyond TODAY.
It will be an Honor and Glory to be martyred.
For the martyrs are seen at the thrones of those given the authority to judge.
They are ALIVE in Christ and BLESSED indeed.

* I share further thoughts on this topic, due to the sensitvity of it's nature as well as to clarify my stance.



1) Protecting ourselves with the name of Jesus
I believe in protecting myself and loved ones as much as possible. 

The name of YESHUA is my Sword and Only Weapon. 
His Name and His Blood is what I wield for my protection.

However, if martyrdom becomes inescapable, and there is no way out, then I would consider it an Honor and a Glory.

I write about embracing martyrdom when this point of no escape arrives. 


2) If a Way out presents itself. Take it.

If I have not made this clear enough. 
I would not stand and allow martyrdom to occur if A WAY OUT presents itself. 

I would TAKE that way out.


3) Thou shalt not Kill

THOU SHALT NOT KILL remains true yesterday and today. 
His Law remains written in our hearts.

I would risk myself to protect myself or another ... without stooping to kill or maim.


4) Pray to know His Will  

I pray that I would be so clearly led that the Lord that I would know if martyrdom is His will for me at that time.  

I pray that when this clarity arrives, that I also have the courage to completely submit to it without resisting it.

Know that the martyrdom of saints serves a great purpose and we should never pick up a weapon to kill another to prevent it. 

5) Does God instruct individuals to kill to protect their loved ones?

There is no biblical evidence of an individual being instructed by God to kill to protect their loved ones. 

With reference to the Old Testament, ONLY Leaders, Kings, Rulers of nations and His angels were instructed by God at times to battle as a nation or to wipe out evil. 

Scripturally, the Lord did not approve an individual to kill to protect their family.

6) What did Jesus do?

Jesus did not kill.
That is quite clear.
He came to bring LIFE not DEATH. 
As His disciples, we only do what Jesus did.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. ~ John 10:10

Don't allow the thief access to your temple.
Don't allow him to deceive you to KILL another.
The thief is so skillful in his deception, he is able to disguise 'murder' as an act of love or even courage!

8) There is GREATER Courage found in OBEDIENCE to the Lord's commands

Pulling the trigger of a gun to save the life of a loved one, also means extinguishing the life of an attacker.

This is man's solution that is no more than a short-sighted act of machismo. It stems from selfish pride as well as a resistance to potential suffering.

Every act of our own will is an abhorrent, stumbling block to the Lord's plans.

The believer who chooses to shoot to kill, chooses the methods of the world. 

He chooses the act that the world will support and even be impressed by.

"Why should I stand by and let my loved one's be killed !? You're evil, wicked, you mean nothing to me. I'll KILL you before you kill my own! " they roar.


9) Engage with the Spirit with Wisdom  

Unfortunately, the passion-ridden individual has rejected Wisdom, Patience and Counsel. 

Wisdom discerns each situation with great depth.

She considers the details of the life of the attacker, their past, present and future.

What if the the Lord has plans to save this attacker from hell ?

10) A lack of Faith

By reaching for a gun rather than the NAME OF JESUS, the believer exhibits a lack of FAITH.
This is equivalent to a lack of righteousness.
The believer is rejecting the opportunity for supernatural assistance and sanctification.  

SUPERNATURAL INTERCESSION often ARRIVES in the form of angelic intervention when there is no hope or interference in the natural. 

And what if the believer is rejecting a test from the Lord, where their loved one is indeed destined to die and they will be left having to exhibit forgiveness, patience and long-suffering.

11) The Lord's Will be done  

Can anyone of us possibly foresee how our Father has engineered things and will eventually turn all things for good? 

Can we step out of the way even when it hurts so that HIS WILL is done?

Our Father who art in Heaven, THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE!

Bring every rebellious child of your Kingdom to their knees into complete obedience of your will, in the name of Yeshua.

12) Put Away your Sword 

When Jesus was betrayed and arrested, Peter acts in great protest against this treatment of his beloved rabbi. 
He cuts off the ear of Malchus, the servant of the Jewish high priest.

Jesus rebukes Peter for his violent act commanding him to PUT AWAY HIS SWORD.

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. ~ 26:52

Despite what awaits Him, Yeshua is not concerned about saving himself.

His mind is on bigger things, the things of God and not the things of man.


He proceeds to lay hands on and heal Malchus.
Is it possible that Malchus was moved by this act  and became a believer? That is certainly a possibility. 

Every instruction given by the Lord is FRUITFUL in ways we cannot foresee or imagine.

Doing it our way, taking up a sword or gun for however "good" a reason, doesn't change the fact that it is still an act of murder.

Murderers will not walk through the Gates of Heaven ...

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and MURDERERS, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 

13) Your Weapon is HIS NAME & HIS BLOOD - Demons don't cower at bullets

Have you considered relying on THE POWER & AUTHORITY OF THE NAME OF YESHUA AS YOUR ONE & ONLY WEAPON OF CHOICE ?  

His name, Sets All things Under your Feet.

To Be a TRUE BELIEVER, we must ACT LIKE IT. 
Believing His Word!
Using the Weapon that He instructed us to wield.

Demons don't cower at guns, bullets or swords. 
DEMONS COWER AT THE NAME OF YESHUA.

THIS IS THE WEAPON WE ARE TO WIELD.
THE POWER HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN HIS BLOOD. 
AND THE BLOOD OF YESHUA DECLARES VICTORY.

“… and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” ~ Exodus 12:13

USE IT ! 
Knowing without doubt that it is both your Sword and your Shield.
And then be at Peace with any OUTCOME.
Knowing that the Lord's will has been done.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, 

but against the rulers, 

against the powers, 

against the world forces of this darkness, 

against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
 ~ Ephesians 6:12
